Flashback: Workshop with Beany and Philipp on Rhodes

From 23.6. to 30.06. the newly opened Kite Center in Theologos (Rhodes) was hosting a training camp with the coaches Beany und Philipp.

The number of participants was limited to 12 in order to keep up the individual success. Rhodes offers a bit of everything for everyone: families, party animals or relaxed couples will feel right at home. Our crew consisted of a bright mixture that had come a long way from mostly Germany.

The wind usually picked up at 1 o´clock and blew strong until sunset. Especially those who wanted to combine kiting and partying scored across the board. The fact that we had wind from 5 out of 7 days had every particpant reach their goal.

Daniel, one of the participants took the time to write down his experience:

„30 deegrees, a nice cooling wind and two good mooded trainers who for sure knew what they were talking about. For me as a participant it was the perfect workshop week on Rhodes. Intense theory lessons in small groups alternated with efficient practical time on the water in varied conditions from waves to flatwater. Gear tips, safety and panic lessons or full commitment on the water – our skilled trainers did it all.
