CORE Style and Wave Session Brazil
If you‘re interested in getting into wavekiting all your worries will be taken care of in Cumbuco from October 18th to November 2nd. In addition with a special emphasis on style. This is what CORE teamriders Thomas „Beany“ Burblies and Philipp Zach took up the cause of for the first „Style and Wave Session“.
The first week will be intensive training. During this time buggys will be ready to bring you to the best wavespots around. The second week continues with open riding and your coaches will assist you with valuable advice.
Throughout the event you can use the latest CORE and CARVED gear.
You‘ll be accomodated in Cumbuco, where each training day will start with an extensive breakfast to fuel up for the day. For dinner the group will spontaneously choose one of the many local restaurants.
Additionally to hard training on the water mental fitness will be regarded as well. Breathing exercises and wipe-out-simulations in the pool are to prevent injuries and to strengthen your confidence in yourself and your abilities.
Especially the moderate waves of trade wind blessed northeastern Brazil offer ideal conditions to progress your riding. And in case there‘s a day without swell, freestyle tricks on waveboard and twintip are added to the agenda.
To join them, you should be going upwind confidently and have tried your first jumps. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of ten.

Life is a journey. Kiteboarding has taken us to the best spots on the planet and allowed us to get to know the local kiters from all corners of the globe. At the same time we have been able to delve into the technology behind the products that we use on a daily basis and catch a glimpse behind the scenes of the kite industry. There are many interesting characters behind the products and it became clear to us, that CORE is not only made up of a team from the Fehmarn Island but instead is made up of people from the world’s beaches. Therefore we became a part of something much bigger.
The idea behind our web-experiment CoreNation is to allow us to share our experiences with you. We want to take you with us on our journeys and share our adventures, experiences and our daily work with you. Enjoy!
